The Golden Child


In the 25th of November 2008, a new member of the family was chosen to be the golden child in the family, golden child not because she’s the one who stood like a mother and a father to her siblings. The name of the girl was Catherine and that’s me. Why i am the mother and father of the family? One day, i just wake up and my feeling is unwell, my father was building a bed for my sister who’s pregnant, I helped him and then I get tired so I went to my grandfather’s house or our family house. An hour ago my brother came and said my papa was not moving I'm shocked and i can’t believe that his not moving. Then my ate was shouting, then i run fast as i could and i saw my father, the construction of our neighbor was carrying him and and rushing him to the hospital. A minute ago my mother called and said that my father didn't make it. That was the day I become a golden child of the family. I thought that no one again will die in our family but a 2 years later my ate didn't make she have also heart disease causing him to heart attack, she have one child and I am the one who stood like her mother and father. Also, my mother went to abroad and work as a farmer so stood also like a mother and father to my sibling although I have a older brother I am the one who cook and all the chores in our house was on me.

In this world full of problems their is solution on it, I have a lot of dreams specially for my family. First i want my family to become more strong and positive in all things, second, I want to pay all the sacrifices of my beloved father and also my mother who work abroad for our family, and the last one is I want to become a engineer in the future so i cam help my family.
